arabic for any age

Assalam walaikum,
It's a well-known truth that every Muslim has to know Arabic.
But what if you don't?
start learning!:-)
Every single book will differ when it comes to the vocabulary and grammar , included in each lesson, as well as the methods of presenting information.
It might be frustrating to some, but that's the way I like it - I hear some new material in one place, then reinforce it in the other, and altogether the new book is not so intimidating any more, as I know bits and pieces already, as I covered the material in some other book.
al-Madinah Books Series  (http://www.kalamullah.com/learning-arabic.html) is one of the most popular.  On this site you’ll find the above mentioned course – books, grammar explanation, videos, etc.
there's another version of the same course, but much more attractive and interactive, with audio available for every piece of info:  http://www.madinaharabic.com/Arabic_Language_Course/Lessons/
You have other options on kalamullah.com - very good courses of Arabic, for ex. Gateway to Arabic- books and audios. It’s a good start for those who can’t read in Arabic very well);  Al-Arabiyatu Bayna Yadayk – books and videos, (good for those, who want to improve spoken Arabic) and lot of other materials.
kalamullah.com is a goldmine for learners, as they have what not.
One more source I wanted to share (they teach  Qur’anic Arabic only, but dr. AbdulAzeez uses TPA – total physical interaction -  which makes studying comparatively easy(www.understandquran.com ) There you can choose a language of teaching, download workbook and videos.
All these resources are free of charge.
But if multiple sources make you confused and giddy from the amount of information you are required to memory -  stick to one source only! and make sure you revise the material till you remember it by heart (I mean in literally). Learning a language is nothing but drilling it till the correct form pops out in your head automatically at the first request.
May Allah bless your efforts
St. Safiyya
